Mediaura Uptime Monitor is an automated service we operate to check that the websites we build and host for our clients are online and responding correctly.
If you have found this page, one of your site’s logs likely showed a visit from our monitor. This is friendly, automated traffic used strictly for status verification—not an attack.
How to Identify It

What It Does
The monitor sends a lightweight HTTP request and simply records the status code and response time.
- No Scraping: It does not crawl your site or download assets (images, scripts, etc.).
- No Interactivity: It never submits forms, attempts to log in, or interacts with user data.
- Negligible Load: It generates virtually zero overhead—just a single small request per check.
Please Don’t Block It
If your firewall, CDN, or Web Application Firewall (such as Cloudflare, Sucuri, or Wordfence) challenges or blocks these requests, it can trigger false “down” alerts for our clients.
To ensure accurate monitoring, please allowlist either our specific User-Agent string or our source IP address listed above.
