Congratulations Team!
Mediaura was recently announced as a winner of the 2012 Alfred P. Sloan Award for Excellence in Workplace Effectiveness and Flexibility.
The 2012 Sloan Awards for Business Excellence in Workplace Flexibility honor companies that successfully used flexibility in 2011 to meet both employer and employee goals. This is the first award of its kind to validate companies’ performance, programs, and policies with employee input, differentiating it from any other current award. A rigorous application and scoring process was developed to select honorees for the award. The assessment used to determine the Sloan Award winners is based on the National Study of Employers (NSE) as administered by the Families and Work Institute (FWI). Sloan Award recipients are employers who offer flexibility programs, policies, and practices that are equal to or above the national average from this study and also have employee verification that these are carried out effectively in the organization.
Workplace Flexibility
The Mediaura Team works hard, very hard, and our innovative approach to employee autonomy and workplace flexibility is truly ground-breaking. We’ve been honored to speak to Human Resources groups, present at the GLI Talent Attraction Forum, and various other groups about our program. The logic behind our program is simple, our employees’ health and well-being comes first; because happy and healthy employees are far more effective at getting the job done right!
The Awards Presentation
The 2012 Awards presentation was held at the St. Charles Exchange and it was quite a wonderful venue for this event.
Congratulations to all of our fellow nominees and winners!
