Scaling Social Media for an Expanding Healthcare Leader
BrightSpring Health Services had its eyes set on growth in 2021. The company, which started as a care provider for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in 1974, had recently rebranded and vowed to expand its offerings to help complex populations of all types to live comfortably within their own communities.
As BrightSpring positioned itself as an emerging leader in the home-based healthcare field, the company decided it wanted the quality and the consistency of its social media presence to reflect the level of its aspirations, particularly for its flagship brand, ResCare Community Living, and its behavioral healthcare arm, SpringHealth.
Previously, BrightSpring relied on individual locations to lead its page’s social media strategy. While this personalized approach fostered a thriving community for some pages, other locations were less active, and posts were generally limited to photos taken by staff members.
BrightSpring’s talented internal marketing team had the vision for expanding its social media strategy: They just needed help creating the volume of high-quality posts necessary to establish its brands as leaders on social media and in healthcare.

To accomplish BrightSpring’s goals, our creative team created a visual identity and set of sleek post templates for ResCare and SpringHealth’s pages — meant to instantly distinguish each brand and to match the quality of their level of care.
We collaborated with BrightSpring on a custom social media management strategy that worked for them: Each month the company would send us healthcare concepts that they wanted us to cover with each post, and we responded with compelling visuals and copy that fit their needs.
The Results
Since partnering with Mediaura, BrightSpring Health Services has acquired several new brands with hundreds of locations each and achieved its long-held goal of going public.
As BrightSpring has grown, the company has trusted Mediaura to grow with it, choosing us to create content for three more of their brands while executing basic social media management for 22 total.
