1. You are stranded on a deserted island, what three things do you have with you and why?
My Kindle, a solar charger and enough Mt. Dew KickStart to keep me wired until the rescue boat arrives!
2. What is something people would be surprised to know about you?
That I enjoy writing and have spent many years toiling over a YA novel that I have recently finished. Now onto editing…
3. Favorite Album?
Counting Crows – August & Everything After. It’s always on my playlist.
4. It’s your last meal, what do you eat?
Sushi! A Yum Yum roll and wasabi, does it get any better than that?
5. Favorite Movie?
That is a tough one, I guess I would have to choose Star Wars. It is one of the first movies I remember seeing in the theatre as a kid.
6. Name one thing you can’t live without.
My Kindle. I try to begin and end each day with reading.
7. How do you like to spend your free time?
With my family, playing games or watching movies. But, if I can sneak away, you will find me on the golf course.
8. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Scotland or to England to see Stonehenge. Something about stonework on that scale is intriguing.
9. Why did you want to be a programmer?
I think I’ve always been interested in solving a mystery. Programming allowed me the opportunity to find out why programs worked and more often than not, why they didn’t. Finding a bug in code always feels like the ending to a Scooby Doo cartoon, where you finally unmask the culprit. “I would have gotten away with it too, if not for you meddling kids.” – Software Bug
10. If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
The ability to control time. To be able to pause your day to get more done would be great, or to just fast forward through the mundane!
