Instagram Update Lets Users Switch Among Accounts

Brand managers should be rejoicing now that Instagram, a Facebook-owned company, has finally made it quick and easy to switch between multiple accounts.

Starting this week, there is no more need to incessantly log in and out when you want to manage different Instagram accounts; now you just simply have to tap the username at the top of your profile to switch among up to five accounts. Once you have multiple accounts added, Instagram says you’ll see your profile photo appear in places throughout the app so you can always tell which one you’re using at the moment.

Other tech companies like Twitter and Facebook added this feature a long time ago. For many, it might seem like a minor addition, but for brand managers, it’s a welcome reprieve to avoid the hassle of logging in and out every time they want to post a photo or check a notification.
